We recommend treating your L&M items with
care. Caring for your nappy bag is the best way to extend its life.

- Avoid contact with rough and abrasive
surfaces.

- Store your L&M bag in its original dust
bag when not in use.

- Use dedicated fabric cleaner to clean your
bag. Please do not use any sanitising or high alcohol content gel, wipes
or spray, as this can discolour and stain your bag. If your bag gets wet,
wipe the excess water with a lint-free cloth and leave to air dry
naturally. 

- We do not recommend washing Shyla Tote Nappy Bag in a washing machine as it damage bags’ structure, material and embossed elements. We recommend spot cleaning by hand.

Spot cleaning: Mix gentle fabric laundry
detergent or fairy liquid and lukewarm water in a bowl; Use a soft-bristled
brush to brush the stain in circular motions to create a soapy solution.
However, if you have a specific stain like blood or ink that will bleed, only
dab it with a cloth rather than scrub it! If the stain doesn’t lift, use fabric
stain remover and follow the instructions on the packet. A great natural
stain remover suitable for Tote fabric is baking soda mixed with vinegar -
apply the paste to the tough stain and leave it on for 24-48 hours, brush off
the remained of the dried baking soda and repeat if required.

- Leave to air dry away from direct sunlight and heat. Never use direct heat to dry the access water of your bag and avoid
leaving your bag in a direct sunlight for prolonged period.

- Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach, as they can damage the fabric and cause colour fading. 

- The vegan leather elements of the bag can be spot-cleaned with a baby wipe or polyurethane leather cleaner for tougher
stains.

- Regular spraying with a water proofer will prevent tough stains and ensure the exterior fabric stays in its premium condition.
Fabric & Upholstery Scotchgard is a suitable water proofer for Shyla Tote
fabric.
